Anachronistic Specimen takes shape through the recorded movement of worms, organisms whose regulated and altered states paralleled my own experience of bodily control. Their traces were translated into data and reconstructed as a sculptural form. The work is placed within an enclosed display under a heating bulb, with projected worm movements and ultrasound imagery forming the background.
