Anachronistic Specimen takes shape through the recorded movements of worms, whose regulated and altered states parallel my own experience of bodily control. Their traces are translated into data and reconstructed as a sculptural form. The work is placed within an enclosed display under a heating bulb, with projected worm movements and ultrasound imagery in the background.
